The Dean of R.D. Medical College in Ujjain refuted reports that a
youth arrested in Delhi in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences
post-graduate entrance exam paper leak racket was a student of his
college.
Mohit Chaudhary, who was arrested by Delhi Police Monday, told police
he was a second year student of R.D. Medical College, Ujjain.
"After going through today's newspapers, I checked with my college
records and found that there is no student registered in our college
either in 1st, 2nd or 3rd year by that name," the dean told reporters.
"Either he gave a wrong name or wrong college name.
I have even written to newspapers in this regard," the dean added.
Chaudhary, along with four others, was arrested after the five were
discovered downloading the question paper with smart phones and trying
to pass on the answers to candidates for a huge sum of money.
Chaudhary
was allegedly the mastermind of the racket.
